Sugar Foot

I made a little slide show for my #1 blog reader, who I affectionately call Sugar Foot.

Here is a little interview I saw on another blog that I thought would be fun to answer.

1. How long have you and your significant other been together? 10 years we met when Bobby was 18 and I was 17.  We will be married 6 years in May.

2. How did you meet? (what's your "love" story?) We met on our church’s senior trip, we camped on house boats for 3 days.  The first time a met Bobby he introduced himself to me, asked me to hold his hat, and then he was the 1st guy in the group to jump off the roof of the boat into the lake.

3. If married, how long have you been married? 6 years in May

4. If you are married, where did you get married at? May 20, 2006 at Travis Ave, the church that Bobby asked for my phone number in after a church service.

5. Do you have any nicknames that you call one another? Share! Bobby calls me LK and I call him sugar foot and sugar bear.  Now we refer to each other as mamma and daddy most of the time, because if we don’t Andrew will start calling Bobby “Bobby” instead of daddy.

6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey. Bobby is a hard worker, he has a lot of responsibilities right now and instead of running away and escaping, he is bearing the weight with joy.  Many days he gets only 4-5 hours of sleep and he still jumps in and wrestles the kids with me.  Bobby listens well.  The first day he met me we talked for hours on the boat in the lake and on the van ride home, that was 10 years ago and I haven’t stopped talking since.  Bobby’s love for the Lord has grown and is deeper now 10 years later.  I love seeing Bobby be a dad to our kiddos.

7. Tell us how he proposed!  September 2, 2005 We ate dinner at On The Boarder and then he took me to a park and we feed the ducks. We had a picnic dessert and he washed my feet, wrote me a note, and got down on 1 knee.  He had my apartment decorated with lots and lots of flowers and candy for when I got home.

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, orstrawberries, champagne, and rose petals?  Chocolate and donuts.

9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch? I would never turn down a dinner on the beach but we are defiantly a movie at home and relaxing on the couch kind of couple

10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant other one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?  Bobby answer would be something like visit all of Texas.  Mine would be to tag along on the Texas adventure and then go to New York and Europe.  We both really don't like traveling much, we are happy where we are at.

11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day. Bobby is working on valentines day and his school is crazy busy right now.  I told him that 2 years from now I want a big romantic thing (he will be done with school, so he won’t have that excuse anymore).  Past valentines days Bobby has cooked or grilled delicious meals for me.  More importantly he lets me know how much he loves me 365 days a year.

14. Show us a picture of what love means to you.

Jamaica 2010 is was a wonderful week that we sat on the beach reading books, sleeping in and enjoy eating food we didn’t have to cook.
