13 months

Lately I have been on a blogging and picture taking frenzy. So I am going to keep posting until I loose steam. I think it is because Andrew is walking and I seem to take a lot of pictures and video when something big and new happens. So of course I want to share them. It is hard to believe that tomorrow Andrew will be 13 months old! Over Valentines weekend Bobby and I were fondly remembering this time last year... the sleepless nights and the none stop crying. Oh how far we have come. Our Valentines date last year was my first time out without Andrew and Bobby and I both we so overwhelmed with parenting. Now we are finding our groove.
A look back...

Today...

Even after a whole year Andrew's favorite spot to be is in mama's arms!Andrew practicing his shooting skills. He is already making stuff in to guns!

Trying to get a cute picture with the camo hat on is very difficult

Still trying

Got one!

What service, he get coffee delivered to his crib!

Admiring his toys collection from his crib. He places every toy strategically all over his room. He gets this skill from his mama :)

Uncle Dave this picture is for you, yes he eats or chews on his crib. When David saw the marks and carvings along the crib rails, he couldn't believe it was Andrew.

He even works in his sleep.

Snow Day

So we had record breaking snow this past week. On Friday we started the day off with these...

PancakesAndrew's Valentines Balloon
Trying to get a picture of Andrew in his Valentine's shirt. It was quite difficult, gotta love the drool.

Here is a funny expression.

Tired of mom trying to take his picture, so he took a break to read his Christmas book.
During nap time I made these.

Andrew got to have his first sugar cookie.

First bite

Oh this is yummy!!
Andrew also enjoyed eating snow, and I threw a little snow ball at him, and he liked it. We had a fun weekend hanging out with Ashley and David. Andrew is walking so much now, everyday he gets better and better at walking.

My Little Turkey

Today I made this....

Yep, I made my first turkey. It wasn't for a special occasion or anything. I got the turkey on sale for $5.00 after Thanksgiving. I have always wanted to try cooking a turkey. I seasoned it with herbs and butter. Bobby and I thought it tasted good and we sent some home with a friend. However another little Turkey refused to eat it tonight, I guess he "wasn't in the mood for turkey and roasted potatoes!" Instead he choose to eat baby food squash and zucchini, my crazy child. Anyways after dinner Bobby used Andrew as a dust rag to clean our coffee table with, a.k.a. he spun Drew around on his back on the table and of course he loved it.

caught a pic, mid spin

Two boys just playing around.

Another first I don't have a picture of for today, is Andrew had a play date with a friend and got to try fun new foods, like a raw apple and crazins. The 2 little guys were so cute, sharing their snacks, while the moms were hoping they were not sharing too many germs, oh well! Even though it rain all day we had our own fun inside.

Walking!!!!

This has been a big week for " Mr. Balouwey" (BA-LOU-WEE) aka Drew. He finally took off walking. After what felt like weeks for him screaming any time we tried to coax him to walk. He took off. I have to say I called it. On Monday I told Bobby, "I bet he is walking by the end of the week." On Tuesday he took 4 steps all together! His past record had been 2. He did this several times! Now he has been practicing all week and wants to do everything standing, reading, eating and playing. We are only up to 5 steps currently. Bobby and I had a pow wow and we decided that according to our standards he is walking, It is so cute to see his hips or waist move around as he tries to catch his balance again. Yay for Drew! Now if only I could get some good video footage of the wobbliness before it is gone. I have got a few steps on the video camera, but I want better footage!

Yes, I am officially a toddler trying to understand these emotions!!! Basically I don't get why I can't get MY way all the time???

So grown up
Just because I LOVE pictures on blogs!
Ignore the background, yes, this is how our house normally looks.

Crazy Kidd in Cowtown

Howdy Partner, So this week we went to the Stock Show. It felt like the first time for all of us. None of us really remembered from going as a kid. Andrew did great and had a blast. It was fun getting to watch him watch the animals. He did so well in the cold too, it was a chilly overcast day. Andrew also got to eat funnel cake for the first time, he loved it of course. It was funny I gave him pieces with the least amount of powdered sugar on them and Bobby gave him pieces with lots of sugar on them!
Our little calf!

Andrew wasn't sacred of the animals, but still didn't know what to think of them.

Crawling around, having fun!
