Lego Land

Andrew’s party was on Thursday night. He spent all day Friday building.

It took 4 hours to build the police station. Notice Andrew’s coffee mug with tea in it. It sustained him. In a lot of the lego sets there is a coffee mug for the figures, so Andrew like to have a mug too when he is building.

Saturday morning we surprised Andrew with a trip to Lego land. Here is a life size mini figure made out of bricks.

Lego land had rides, and legos to build and race. Andrew loved this ride, he got to drive a lego police car and chase the bad guys.

Lily and Bobby about to go on a harry potter ride.
Lily enjoyed the pink duplo legos, although lego does need to get with the times and offer cooler girls stuff, girls like to build too.

Me and the birthday boy. We were at lego land from 10:15 until around 1:30. It was a fun filled day.
Laval the lion from Chima. Andrew hadn’t been interested in the Chima series of lego but now he has read a book about them watched some shows and is planning what Chima set he wants for next year.
About to watch a cool 4-d movie about knights and castles.
Will had fun with Mimi and Gramps while we were at lego land. He got to go to the park and get some one on one time with the grandparents.

School birthday lunch

On day before Christmas break Andrew came home from school and told me that for his birthday he wanted me to come eat lunch with him at school, bring chickfila for him to eat and cupcakes for his class. Another little boy had celebrated his birthday at school that day and Andrew wanted to the same celebration. I was so happy to make his wish come true.

Me and the birthday boy. His birthday fell on Saturday this year so I came on Thursday to celebrate.
Nana watched Will so Lily and I could go see Andrew. Lily had a great time she was just a little overwhelmed by all the excitement. I love the smile on Andrew’s face, he also has on his special birthday sticker that his teacher gave him. When he first walked into the lunch room he ran and hugged me and wanted me to sit next to him.  I loved it!
At his school the kindergarten boys sit at 1 table and the girls sit at another. I know why as a kindergarten girl I wouldn’t want to sit at this table it was quite a rowdy lunch. At the end of lunch they broke out in a spontaneous pretend gun fight and trash throwing away race.

I love you Andrew and I love celebrating you!!!

Andrew’s 6th Birthday

Andrew had his party at Pump it Up, this is his 3rd time to have his party there. They always run a good coupon around the time of his birthday and I love the idea of showing up and not having to clean up. Andrew has looked forward to his birthday for months. He loved having it at Pump it Up.

Watching the safety movie before the fun starts.
The kids went down this big slide so many times. It was their favorite thing of the night

Will is now a big kid and went flew down the slide several times.
Six years old! He still has all of his baby teeth. He really wants to loose a tooth. Andrew is such a fun kid, I have loved the past 6 years watching him grow.
All of the kids at the party.
They kept moving around during the picture taking.

Andrew’s party theme was camo because it is his favorite color and there were not a lot of lego options available. Andrew’s first choice is to wear camo everyday.

Yes that is my baby sitting at the table with the big kids eating pizza by the slice! Slow down Will.
Andrew is so blessed to have such great friends and family.

Will helping his friends.
The camo cupcakes.
Andrew’s favorite part the presents.

Family picture to capture the night. We all had so much fun running around and eating pizza. Happy Birthday Andrew!

Winter Days

One a warm winter day we got out and soaked up some sunshine at the park and I tried to run the kids out of energy.
We have been enjoying our museum pass. Andrew looks like such a big kid with his hood on in the picture.
Will loves shooting the water guns at the museum.
Lily and her friend Anetka playing grocery store for a whole hour. I loved playing grocery store and library as a kid. I love watching Lily play it now to.

Ahhh this smile melts my heart!

The Littles

Lately I have been thinking that I haven’t taken enough pictures of Will and Lily. Andrew has thousand of photos of him as a toddler. Life is a lot more busy now. On the 2 days a week that Andrew is at school our house is a little quieter. I usually go to the grocery store and we play at home. Lily gets to be the big kid and she and Will usually play with her toys in her room.
We also do silly things like jump in Will’s crib.
I love how Will struck a pose for me. Lily’s hair is getting so long. Every day is a hair battle with her, she does not like her hair to be pulled back out of her face.
I love the shirt Will has on, it was Andrew’s and I love how it looks on both of my boys. Lily and Will have a cute friendship, often the house gets quiet and they are off in a room playing together.

Almost every day when Lily and I are out someone says how she and I look so alike.
My beautiful baby girl.

Caivano Christmas

I am determined to get caught up on blogging…

Over new years we celebrate Christmas with the Caivano side of the family. It is always a fun time with  8 kids 5 year old and younger.

Watching a movie in Nana’s bed.
The toddler boys so adorable in their Christmas pajamas.
All of the cousins in their Christmas pajamas.
I didn’t get very many pictures because we were busy hanging out and having fun.

 Will loved his car.
Lily was so excited about her new Elsa dress.
