Easter 2014

Easter weekend was a lot of fun this year. The best part was that Bobby was off, not tired and was able to be with us all weekend.

On Saturday we started the weekend off at a egg hunt at my cousin Vanessa’s house. The kids were so pumped up and excited.

Will had fun walking around, but he did not quite get the concept of putting the eggs in the basket.

Lily and Addy patiently waiting for the games to begin.

The serious egg hunter.

Yay one got in the basket.

Sunday morning the kids opened there Easter presents. I didn’t do a basket because the stuff wouldn’t fit in a basket and I didn’t want to give them more candy in addition to the bags full they got egg hunting. So I wrapped the presents and the kids had fun opening them.  I was more prepared than last year, Will was a newborn and I remember forgetting about the gifts and grabbing them out of the closet to give them Easter morning.
Capturing the memories.

Apparently that blade of grass was fascinating.

Andrew the big 5 year old.

Lily really enjoyed me taking her picture this year.

I got a photo of that beautiful smile.

More pretty pictures of my girl. After church we ate lunch and napped at my parents house. Then we went to Nana’s house for dinner.
The kids did another egg hunt.

Cousins enjoying their candy.
Trying to get a picture with cousin Ben.
I love this picture...
Will doing what he does best… climbing and scaring me that he is going to get hurt.

Playing the jumping game with Gabby and Callie.
I am so thankful for Jesus paying the price for my sin, and conquering death! I am thankful for spring and new life I get see outside in the beautiful flowers.

How does your garden grow

This past year I have really wanted to have a garden.  I have grown a few edible plants in my flower bed in the front yard and I have been wanting do have a garden.  In February we decided not to do a garden because we had to replace the fence and that was a lot of work.  Well… on interest I saw how you can do a little garden using pallets.  We had 2 pallets and a bag of garden soil so I convinced Bobby to help me plant a small garden.
Andrew was ready to help with tool and Will loved sticking his hands in the dirt.
So the pallet idea didn’t work, there was not enough room for the plants to grow, the soil was to shallow :(  This all happened on Saturday, on Sunday Bobby and our neighbor Jace but me a raised bed and tilled up the dirt.  So we now have a garden!
In addition to growing this cutie, we planted tomatoes, green beans, and bell peppers in addition to the cucumbers I had already started.

Hopefully I will have pictures of our harvest soon.

13 months old

William melts my heart with this smile. He turned 13 months old and so far life as a one year old has been good for Will.

Will is sleeping through the night and is no longer swaddled at night, he sleeps with his swaddle wrap as a lovie. His naps have improved too, both Will and I are better rested and we both wake up in good moods and happy to start the day.
Curls! Will’s hair is the curliest of the 3 kids.
He is still very physical, he can kinda run now, stomp one foot and dribble a soccer ball.

Will loves to eat, he won’t eat baby food or snacks he only wants what everyone else is eating. He loves cooked broccoli and peas, he currently is not eating raw cucumbers and peppers. I call Will the “cookie monster” he loves cookies and knows what the container looks like. Will loves cows milk and water. At his 12 month appointment Will weighted 20 lbs.

Will can say Mama, Dadda, ball, Nana, hi, and he tries to say Andrew.

This past month has been so fun, Will is turning into a little toddler. He is always exploring and his happy wandering off finding new things.  I love watching his face light up with a smile and watch him run to my arms, and I love when he lays his head down on my shoulder and cuddles.

Bye Bye March

March flew by, it feels like we just had the birthday party. Here are some pictures from March.
Lily loves suiting up for soccer practice.  She enjoys practicing with the team and so far has not minded not playing on game day.
Andrew is all into “little legos” now. I am still in denial that he is old enough to play with these. Last week we interviewed for kindergarten, Andrew is signed up to start in the fall.
Don’t mess with this little sister, she can hold her own.
Lily has made a big improvement with potty training these past 2 weeks.
I think will is going to be a baseball player or a drummer. He loves to hit things, this is a favorite piece of scrape wood that Will found in the garage.
We left this table up in the living room (it was out for the birthday party) for Andrew to have room to build his tiny legos on. It worked well because Will couldn’t reach the legos, as you can see in the picture Will figured out a way.
The lego table in action.

Andrew letting Lily lay on his special froggy blanket.
Lily is starting to enjoy dressing up in crazy outfits.
Will is sleeping through the night now!
Lily tried to walk down the hallway in Bobby’s boots.

This past month was fun. It has been full of transitions. Bobby worked his last shift at the hospital and started at the family practice clinic this week.
