Away in a Manger

Andrew's preschool put on a Christmas program for the parents, this week.  For the last couple of weeks Andrew would not talk about it, I knew they were practicing at school, but throughout the day I would catch him singing some of the songs that were in the program.  I was so excited to see him preform, I was nervous, and he didn't really care.  He was a shepherd with the multicolored head covering and the stripped sweater.
When they came out on the stage this is what Andrew did when he saw me trying to take pictures.  I was a crazy paparazzi mom taking video and pictures, to show Bobby latter that night.  I love that little smile that he couldn't cover with his hand.
This is what he did most of the time.  I got him singing on video.  I was so proud of him for following his teachers directions so well.

There is something about this expression on his face that reminds me of Bobby.  Andrew had his own cheering section at the play, all the grandparents came and even our friend Mindy from life group.  My kids are loved so well.
Lily and Gramps while we were waiting for the show to begin.
Lily wanted her picture taken too.  She had so much fun skipping her nap to join Andrew at school.
 The girls.
I love this picture my dad got of Lily.  It is impossible to get a "natural smile" from her.  This is the beautiful girl I get to be with everyday!
 The shephard's "mug shot"
Part of the stage, little kids dressed up singing is so cute!
A fun picture from our friends Christmas pajama party.  Celebrating the Christmas season has been so much fun.  I can't wait for the next couple of days!

SIT, BOOK

This past month Lily has really gotten into books.  Her favorite activity is to sit in my lap while I read books to her.  She will often command me to SIT, and then hand me a book.
If I can't find Lily this is where she usually is, looking at her books.  She will even put a baby doll in her lap and read them books!

I have friends who have daughters and they would tell me about how they would get tired of reading books to their daughters, because that is all they want to do.  I never understood because Andrew and I mainly only read books before bedtime and nap time.  Well I now understand!  Lily will easily sit for me to read 3-4 books at a time, several times a day!  One morning she had been up for only a hour and had Bobby read her 2 books and me read her 3!

I love this girl!

The other day I let Andrew and Lily play with some bandaids.  He was into putting them over his mouth.
Of course this little girl did what her brother was doing.  She refuses to miss out on any fun.

The kids thought I needed some bandaids too.
 Being silly.

Bobby is working 7 days in a row this week, and has been really busy at work so he comes home very tired.  As a result, you can tell the kids and I have been goofy and they may be getting away with things that normally they wouldn't like, playing with bandaids.  Ah well it entertained every one for about 30 minuets and the kids were cute sticking bandaids on each other.

Christmas outfits 2012

I love this photo, it captures the kids perfectly.  Lily is my little model putting up with so much, while Andrew is obviously not as excited to capture Christmas memories.

Say "Thomas the Train"  That was my secret for getting that smile.

I still can't believe how fast December is going by.  As you can tell there are no presents under the tree yet.  I don't think I could keep the kids out of them, but we are having fun talking and celebrating Jesus coming to earth to save us.  Andrew seems to be getting it more this year.  Of course both kids can't wait for presents!

28 weeks

Time is flying by, I am already 28 weeks along or 7 months pregnant.  Overall I am feeling good.  I have been having the normal back pain and this little boy likes to move and kick around a lot, he will often wake me up in the middle of the night moving around.

The past week,  I got his closet ready.  Picked out a "coming home outfit" from the hospital outfit! We are excited for a another boy to join the family.  Bobby and I also decided on a first name.....  William!
We still haven't picked a a middle name yet, but I am so excited to have a first name.

Christmas Cuties

Lily is my little baby doll.  She lets me dress her up and enjoys posing for pictures.  It is so cute she thinks it is a fun game and likes to look at the pictures on my camera.
We went to a fun Christmas pajama party this week and this was Lily's outfit.  It isn't pajamas but she was cute and comfortable.
Then I asked her to go stand by the tree for a different background. She happily agreed. Meanwhile I asked someone else to take a quick picture with his sister.
This is what I got.  " I don't want to cheese Mama!"I love both of these adorable kiddos.  Andrew is all boy and Lily is still my little baby doll for now.

Kick off Christmas

On Saturday morning Bobby took his final exam for the semester!!!!  Bobby has a 6 week break from school!  That night we went to a outdoor live nativity program.
The kids had so much fun drinking hot cocoa and eating popcorn.
After the program we got to pet the animals.
The camel made a funny growling sound and we really tall.  He was sitting down and his head was over 5 feet tall.
Lily enjoyed watching the animals safe in Nana's arms.
 The donkey
Lily refused to pet the donkey, and he was going after her snack cup.
This picture captures the kids so well right now, Lily smiling and posing while Andrew can't slow down for a picture.

Bobby was then off for a few days at the beginning this week.  We have had fun filled days, he has started building Andrew's new loft bed, the house is more organized and we did a big walmart stock the pantry trip.
