Fa La La La La

Last Sunday Christmas cheer came to our house.  First the boys split some firewood.

Can you believe Bobby let him use a axe?  Afterwards we came inside and started decorating the tree.
Lily loved the lights like this, not plugged in.  Once we plugged them in she didn't want to get near them until she saw Andrew playing with them.  I had a hard time getting Andrew out of his room, while we were putting the tree up.  Once we started putting ornaments on it, he got really into the holiday fun.
He came out of his room to show Lily how to play with the lights.  Andrew was hot from working outside and Bobby had his shirt off and Andrew had to take his off too.  It was funny to be decorating for Christmas with the a/c on.
Figuring out the lights aren't that bad.

 My sweet little baby girl!
Lily loved the beads.

Funny things Andrew said while decorating.
-" I don't want to decorate! I want to put the presents under the tree."
-"You put stuff (presents) in stockings."
- "Did baby Jesus Caivano have a birthday?"

I can't wait to see what fun memories we make as we celebrate the month long birthday party for Jesus!

2 little turkeys

Happy Thanksgiving from the Caivano's!
I am thankful for this little man who is a great big brother, and a loving and caring son.  I took their picture while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade.  It was the only way to get them to sit still.
I am thankful for this little girl.  Her smile and laugh melt my heart.  She is such a loving daughter to her momma, dada and Andrew.
Trying to get a picture of the little turkeys together.
 Getting better.
It is exciting to think next year there will be another little turkey in the picture.
All ready to relax eat turkey and watch some football.

Let the holiday season begin!

Sunday morning fun

On Sunday the weather was coolish and I liked the outfits that I had the kids in.  So I wanted to get a quick picture of them in fall outfits.
When I said smile for the camera this is what I got, there backsides.
Lily was sassy and styling in her leopard print outfit.
Andrew showing me his mater truck.
My handsome man in his fall outfit.
Time to get in the car and go to church.
Lily likes using her blanket as a pillow in the carseat.
Everyone was all smiles as we headed off to church.

A new era!

Something big happened in the Caivano household last month.  Bobby broke down and got a smart phone!  He has not upgraded his phone since before we were married.  His old phone was going on at least 8 years old and was still working fine.  This is Bobby's first phone that is not a Nokia.  We are now a all "apple" family.

Don't be surprised if you get a text from him!  It has been nice being able to share photos and videos with him, and we have been playing the game "Words with Friends" a lot.

School is what broke him down and made him get one.  It has been required for a while, but he wouldn't budge.  There are many helpful books/ apps that you can put on your phone to use while doing clinical hours.  Bobby tells me that it has been really helpful and now he does't have to take a backpack full of reference books with him to his clinical site.  The times sure have changed.  I wonder how different college will be for Drew and Lily.  There are quite a few changes that have happened in the 6 years we have been out of undergrad.

6 months down- 3 months to go

I am officially 6 months pregnant or 25 weeks along.  It feels like time has flown by.  The past 10 weeks have been so much better than the earlier weeks in my pregnancy.  I overall feel good.  Some days I am tired other days I am not as tired.  Some days I am hungry, other days I don't have much of a appetite.  This little boy loves to move around, I feel him every time I sit down for a few minutes.  I think he is a lot lower than the other kids have been during pregnancy.

* we still don't have a name yet, it is driving me crazy.  Bobby and I just haven't agreed on the same name yet.
* one day last week I slept for 11 hours that night, took a hour nap that afternoon, and then went to bed early that night.  I guess the little boy was growing.
* this past week I have started craving chocolate a lot!!!
* Andrew told me that his baby brother has a trampoline in his tummy.  Andrew really wants a trampoline and maybe his baby brother will bring him one ;)
* Andrew has been asking when he will get to meet his baby brother!
* Lily is blissful unaware but enjoys taking care of her baby dolls.

1st Finger Painting

Lily's first time to finger paint was last week.  She had so much fun, she didn't seem to mind the paint on her fingers, but in the end wanted to use the brushes because big brother was doing that.
My dainty little lady it was so fun to paint with pink paint!
Lily is becoming more and more a 2 year old, she uses words to tell me what she wants, she can read her favorite book out loud and now finger paint and water color paint and wants to buckle herself in the car seat.
This artist was too busy for pictures, and his picture of trains, planes and helicopters came out great!

October phone pictures

Thanksgiving is almost here, so here are a few pictures from my phone for October.
Lily enjoying her Cheetos after the fall festival party.
Too cool with Thomas the Train sunglasses.
Climbing a tree with daddy at the park
Andrew gave Lily 2 suckers and she was a happy girl!
Halloween night waiting to go trick or treating.
November 1st it was over 80 degrees outside so Andrew ran through the sprinklers one last time for the year..
Andrew showing me what he does during nap time.  He is behind his dresser with the window behind him!
 Lily playing in the tunnel.
 My handsom man.
Nana ordered some new trains for her house.  Andrew loved the new toys to play with at her house.
Aunt Ash and "Aya" as Lily says it, hung out with us several times.
Taking a much needed break from playing trains.
The kids spent the night at Nana's house and got to go to Chickfila while Bobby and I went on a date.
Riding a horse at the science museum.  Bobby got to come with us!
My little shopper getting ready for Thanksgiving.
We got new wheels!

Fall is flying by, I guess because it has been so warm.  We have been having lots of fun.

Car, Trucks and Trains

Some days the kids don't play at all with each other, they each do their own thing.  Other days they play together, it can be rough because they both are working on sharing.  On the days that they do play together there are some really cute sweet moments too.

Pushing their trucks down the hallway together, taking the animals to go ride the train.
Lily can play really well with cars, trucks, and trains.  She has got the noises and the movements down.  That is one perk to having a big brother.  Thankfully she got this cute car as a Christmas present, so she can play cars "in style"

Here Lily is smiling for the camera after asking me to take her picture.

This is the picture I got of Andrew after begging him to slow down for one moment so I could take his picture!
Blue eyed baby girl doing her cute tongue trick.  Andrew has brown eyes, Lily has blue.  Bobby has brown and I have blue.  Andrew thinks baby #3 is going to have green eyes, I think it would be cool if baby #3 ends up with brown eyes.  Then all the boys will have brown and the girls will have blue.
