Sparkly Shoes

Mom, I like these they are sparkly.
Having lots of fun in my closet.  Lily is all girl, we are going to have lots of fun.

I am soo excited, for the past 2 days Lily has been “real” crawling on her hands and knees, no longer army crawling.  Today Andrew and I cheered her on as she crawled down the hallway into her room.  She was laughing, squealing and smiling the whole way.  It took her 11 months but she did it.  There are perks to being the 2nd child, I would have completely been a nervous wreck if Andrew had waited this long to crawl thinking something was wrong with him, instead I knew she would in her time and I recognized she had her own way of getting places and getting things.  Plus I think it must be more fun to have a big brother cheering you on as well as mom and dad.   The funny thing is that these past 2 days that she has started crawling more, she has also demanded to be held all day and dramatically crying if I put her down.  I guess she is conflicted right now with wanting more independence and wanting to be my baby!

When Andrew started crawling he would be very focused at first, and master the task.  Lily had to stop several times because she was laughing so hard and then get up and keep going.  It will be fun to see what kind of a personality she has as she gets older and to watch her and Andrew interact.
