Shark Attack

Yesterday was a crazy day at home.  Andrew woke up and was begging to for me to wrestle with him before breakfast, yes, he had a ton of energy at 7:30 am.  When he has a ton of energy I have to keep a close eye on Lily because if I am not in the right spot at the right time Andrew will make Lily play with him.  As a result Lily got mistaken for Goliath multiple times yesterday, was observing the WWF wrestle mania and mistakenly got pulled into the action, got bit by a shark and many other creative ways Andrew was trying to include Lily and play with her.  No one took a nap so everyone went to bed early last night.

Today I wake up and it is a completely different situation.  Andrew is sharing with Lily, he asked me to put her in the basket with him for a ballon ride (picture below)
Lily had just woken up from a nap and I think was shocked Andrew was allowing her to touch the balloon strings.
At lunch today Andrew chose to sit by Lily and eat lunch instead of watching Sesame Street.  He is showing my his red pepper that he is eating.

Yesterday I made salmon, quinoa, veggies and salad for dinner.  Andrew loved the meal, Lily wasn’t a big fan but it may have had too much flavor for her.  I ate the quinoa and veggies but I had mickey mouse chicken nuggets instead of fish.  It makes me laugh to see Andrew eating things I don’t like but are healthy, while I eat the kid food.  At the store he got so excited when we bought the peppers.  He made sure to tell Bobby all about it.  Hopefully Lily will take after her brother.
It is crazy how 2 days that are pretty much the same, stay, home play inside and outside can feel so different.  My favorite thing I said yesterday was “ it is fun to share your toys and you are so lucky to have a sister to share them with!”  One day he will agree with the part about a sister.
Lily enjoying a chicken nugget, she doesn’t eat much baby food now that she knows how good big kid food taste.

The best part of today is that Bobby is home tonight so he and Andrew can have wrestle mania and Lily and I can sit safely on the side lines.

I love having a active healthy boy somedays I just have to keep reminding myself how lucky I am that he wants to play with me!
