Today is October 1st and I have met my goal. Back in May I decided to try using cloth diapers on Lily. They are pricey at first but pay for them self over time. I had to use them for 3 months to not spend more than I would have on disposables.
Well I did and it hasn’t been hard at all. I enjoy how pretty, cute and how soft they are. So for now we are going to keep going green and saving some green too.
A new goal that I have, has been to run. I have now ran 3 or more times a week for 3 weeks! This is big for me a non runner. So far it has been pretty enjoyable. I really like the energy I get after I run and I feel much better around. My friends and I have a goal of running a half marathon in Febuary. So we will see how that goal goes. Right now I am proud of myself for every day I go out and run. (Thank you Bobby and Nana and Mimi and Gramps for watching the kids so I can go!) I hope to be saying “goodbye", to the rest of the baby weight soon.
Another interesting thing about me is that I have been in a book club since January and I have been reading a lot this summer. My list includes: The Help, Jesus for President, Husband Coached Childbirth, Christ Lead Childbirth, My Name is Mary Sutter, Tattoos on My Heart, A Prayer for Owen Meany, Heaven is for Real, Loving the Little Years, and I am currently reading Too Small to Ignore (it is about ministering to children).
I hope you enjoyed a little update about me!
