Andrew’s kindergarten graduation

In May Andrew wrapped up his kindergarten year.  The year went by really fast, especially the spring.  Andrew made new friends and learned so much this year.  He started off the year unable to write his name and could count to 30. He now can write his name, he is a early reader, he can add and subtract, count by odds, evens, 5’s and 10’s and backwards by 5’s and 10’s.
His school had a little graduation ceremony.
They preformed the constitution song they learned this fall, along with a song about how the United States was founded.
Andrew got a perfect attendance award.
Each child was called to the stage and received their diploma along with a medal and was given a Biblical character quality. Mrs. Hobbs then shared a little about each child.  Andrew received the diligence character quality.  He never gave up, at times kindergarten was tough he was learning lots of new material, but he worked hard all year and mastered the goals and objectives.

Andrew has loved his medal and has worn it all summer long.
This was Andrew’s kindergarten class with their teacher Mrs. Hobbs.

My little graduate.  I guess the flash was too bright.

Mimi and Gramps were there to cheer Andrew on.

Now on to 1st grade!  Andrew is staying at his school and will continue to do 2 days a week at school in the classroom and 3 days a week of homeschool with me.
