A day out with Thomas

We made the trek to Grapevine and went to the Day Out With Thomas.  I told Drew about it on April 1st and we counted down the days until April 19th.  I was so thankful it didn't rain, it was a little chilly but we bundled up and had lots of fun.  I was telling Drew to look up at me for the picture and I think Lily though I said put your hands up!  Lily had a lot of fun too.
A yellow version of Rocky.  This is one of Andrew's favorite trains, it has a crane on the end.
Survival of the fittest, there are hundreds of people and a little tent with about 5 train tables and about 5 trains at each table.  Some how Drew got his hands on a train.  Lily just wondered from table to table.
Showing off their tattoos.  Drew got Diesel 10 and Lily got Rosie.
All aboard! Drew really enjoyed the train ride this year.  Lily had fun handing our tickets to the conductor to get them punched.
Drew with the Diesel trains. Den, Diesel 10 and Dart.  On the train it was funny because the people in front of us were talking about trains and story lines of Thomas movies and I knew everything they were talking about.  It was fun to be surrounded by so many Thomas enthusiasts too.
Lily is such a fun little sister.
Here is Thomas that pulled Annie and Clara belle the passenger cars that we rode on.  William did amazing he slept the whole time

I got to meet Sir Topham Hat.  Lily refused to get out of the stroller and you can see in the picture where Drew was.  So I guess we aren't ready for Disney World yet :)

Drew warmed up right when we our time was up.
2013
2012  Lily had just started taking steps and Drew was just starting to get into trains.  He didn't have his wooden train table yet.

2012 my little 3 year old.
2013 my big 4 year old.

Drew lined up all of his Thomas brand trains and he was 46 engines and around 20 box cars.  He has spent many hours playing trains, setting up track, watching Thomas movies, and reading Thomas books!
