Lily has officially been a year old for almost 2 months now. Lily's verbal communication has exploded these past couple of weeks. She often talks in sentences, tries to count and tries to sing her ABC's. She is the proud big sister to her baby (she won't call him William, but only baby). It took her about a full month to adjust to her new role, and now she is a great loving big sister. She loves to give William his passie and she is very aware of where he is, she is often asking me where baby is and tells me to put baby in the car or get him out of the car.
Lily loves to go down slides and play outside. I love her rosy red checks. On Tuesday we played with oatmeal (because I was out of dried beans). I love watching my kids figure things out and learn. She had so much fun making a mess she played with this for about 30 min and then helped me sweep the floor.
Serious work going on. This week Lily also helped me wash dishes. Lily has started showing interest in potty training we did good for a few days and then lost interest. It was so cute, she loved having Andrew coach and cheer her on.
Lily loves to wear "rings" to bed, her passies. Lily's imagination is fun to watch, she notices so many little things. Lily also loves to pick out her clothes. These frog pajama's and her princess pajamas are her favorite clothes along with her cupcake pajamas. Some days I give in and let her wear them all day like she wishes. Lily also loves to pick out her hair accessories, shoes and socks. Her favorite color right now is purple and she loves ducks.
