a week at a time

Here are a few pictures of our first week as a family of 5.
Every morning the kids wanted to check William out.  Andrew was very concerned about the umbilical cord stump and wanted it to come off.  It came off when William was 5 days old.
Lily took a little bit longer to warm up to the idea of being a big sister.

The Texas Tech hat that all 3 kids have worn.
 A future Red Raider???
Such a handsome little guy.  He did a lot of this the first week :)
 Bonding with dad.
Bobby gave Lily crazy hair when he bathed the kids, she loved it.
Bobby did a lot of yard work that week and the kids had fun helping out.  Why didn't they want to help me all fall when I was raking leaves?
 goofing around
Lily is always dressed up with necklaces.
It is a miracle... Andrew smiled for me to take a picture.

Lily being goofy.
I love the first few weeks when they will sleep on the couch in the boppy pillow.

We all loved having Bobby around that week, he was able to focus on just us, since it was spring break, so he didn't have any school commitments.
William is growing so fast.  He outgrew newborn clothes by 2 weeks old.
Lily having fun with the baby stuff.  Remembering how fun the baby days were for her.
 First bath was a success.

My own personal chef who specializes in cheese pizza and french fries, has been busy cooking for me.
One of my favorite outfits that Andrew had.  William looks adorable in it.
My blue burrito, William loves this thing and I love that it zips.  He can move his hands some, unlike other swaddle blankets.  Don't worry he is yawning in this picture not crying.
