37 weeks going by fast

 This pregnancy is coming to a end soon.  I am so excited to see William, I am so curious about how much he is going to weigh, will he have a bunch of hair, if so what color will it be and ect.  I went to the midwife this week and everything looks good.  He is a active little guy constantly kicking and moving around, his heart rate is consistently high (this is okay, just unusual for boys).  The midwife did a ultrasound for me to double check gender because I was nervous about the high heart rate.  William was there all boy, moving like crazy and I could see his little heart beating fast and his chest rising as he was breathing.  The midwife thinks he is on the smaller size and will weigh around 6-7 pounds if he comes on time.  That sounds great to me!

So far this pregnancy looks like the others I have gained about the same amount of weight.  I haven't felt any braxton hicks contractions.  By the end of the day my feet and hands are swollen a little, just enough to bug me, but not super noticeable.  I have heart burn frequently and I have to make sure I don't eat big meals at once since my stomach doesn't have much room anymore.  My back and hip pain is a lot better since William is head down and facing the right direction.  This has been a nice relief.

I need to pack my hospital bag.  The bassinet is set up, his clothes are hung up in the closet and I have sanitized the pacifiers and I have 3 big boxes of diapers for him.  So overall I feel like we are ready to bring William home, logistically.

The hard part is being patient and trying not wonder to much what day he is going to make his grand entrance on.
