Christmas in Photos

We had a great Christmas holiday.  It was a week of fun filled celebrating.  Bobby was off for 7 days straight, and we had so much fun.  Our first party was with the Hanson's at Nana's house.

Christmas morning Lily woke up at 7:30 and by 8:30 I had to wake Andrew up!  The kids were so excited and it was so fun.

Lily's favorite part of her stocking was the candy and she can now open candy wrappers all by herself.

Bobby got to spend Christmas morning as a proud dad putting all the presents together.

Lily is standing in her doll cradle that Bobby made her.  She loved it and since Bobby made it, I know it will be able to handle lots of love.  Hopefully one day Lily's own daughter will play with this cradle too.

The day after Christmas we stayed home and were snowed in, by choice.

Don't be fooled by this picture.  Andrew ran across the yard and then went back inside.  He didn't stay out long at all.  He is 100% Texan.  If you look at the wood rack in the back, at the beginning of winter it was stacked full all the way up to the top of the wood fence with wood.  We have had a lot of fires.  Bobby has already been on the look out for wood for next year, since it takes time to dry out to burn.

At the end of the week, the kids my parents and I went to Wichita Falls to see Gigi and Boompa.

 Addy and Colby were there too.  Lily got this baby doll from Gigi and didn't put it down the whole weekend.  She loves it because it has a pass.

We had so much fun and I can't believe it is all over.  I am now in planning mode for Andrew's birthday!  We packed up the Christmas decorations on New Years eve.  This was my favorite Christmas so far with kids.  Both Andrew and Lily played with their toys all day long.  It was so relaxing and fun to see them enjoy the holidays.  Andrew also told us the Nativity story with the little people nativity toys that we have.  He really was able to communicate the real meaning of Christmas this year.  It is exciting to think that next year there will be another little boy in our family!
