Rock and Roll

On Saturday we celebrated Andrew’s 3rd birthday with a rock and roll guitar party.  On Friday night we put the kids to bed and told Andrew that when he woke up on Saturday morning the house would be a PARTY house.  Then Bobby and I got work cleaning and making the party happen.

When he woke up we had lots of balloons in the living room, he was sooo happy and played with the balloons most of the morning while we waited for the party to start.
I was excited how Andrew’s cake came out, I worked on it most of Friday night.  I love making the cakes for Andrew’s birthday parties.  A special thanks to Bobby for cleaning the house so I could focus on decorating the cake.
Andrew was so excited to blow out the candles.  He had been talking about this for weeks.  He did a great job and blew them out on the first try.  It is hard to believe that last year he couldn’t blow his candles out (this was a speech therapy goal he met this summer.)

 Friends

It felt weird putting cake, fruit snacks, and m&m’s all on 1 plate for Andrew to eat, but he loved it.  He is eating a drumstick in the picture. (a pretzel rod with a marshmallow on top)

Our friend Anna

 Our friends Daniel and Noah.

Andrew loved playing with all of the fun music and guitar stuff.
He had a blast opening presents and has had fun playing with his new stuff.

Yay a baseball glove!!!!!

Lily and Nana watching Drew open presents.
Before the party Andrew let Gigi hold of the balloons.  Lily enjoyed Gigi rocking her and resting before the party.

I made the banner for Andrew’s 1st birthday and it is fun to get it out each year.
 Balloons!!!!!
Cool Cats ready to rock and roll.
Cool kids, Lily was playing peek a boo with her sunglasses.
Mimi and Gramps with the kids.  Thanks Gramps for taking the pictures that way I could party.
Boompa and Gigi with the kids.
It was such a fun and special day.  Andrew loved every minute of his party and it was so fun having friends and family to celebrate with.  I can’t believe he is 3 years old tomorrow.

We spent Sunday recovering from all of the fun.  Lily slept most of the day and Andrew enjoyed all of the balloons and new toys.
