Almost 3

 Andrew can’t stop talking about his birthday that is coming up.  We have to keep the elmo balloons tied to the kitchen chair for his birthday party.  He makes his birthday cake out of wipes and his white blanket and pretends to light and then blow out 3 candles.  He has told me that he wants birthday cake and ice cream every morning this week for breakfast.  This boy has his birthday on his mind.

This week he mastered showing 3 fingers for his age.  He tells me and every one he meets at the park that he “is almost 3”  This morning he told me that Lily is almost 1 (I have no clue where he got that from).  I said “I know” in a sad voice and then Andrew asked me why I was sad.  He is so observant and always listening.

This is the official birthday chair in our house right now 2 elmo balloons tied to it.

Celebrations are so much fun now that Andrew get excited too, and really knows what is going on.  Hopefully his birthday and party will as much fun as he is imagining it to be!
