The Christmas baking has begun. I have a great little helper, who isn’t scared to get his hands dirty.
On Friday night we made sugar cookies.
Andrew did great using the cookie cutters.
On Saturday morning we iced and decorated the cookies.
I iced and Andrew decorated. I can’t remember the last time I decorated cookies this elaborate, 2 different colors of homemade icing with 2 different kinds of sprinkles. Kids make life more fun and interesting.
He was thrilled to be in charge of the sprinkles.
He is always organizing. After we decorated he cleaned the table, Bobby would be so proud.
He decided to ice a few himself.
Sprinkle action shot.
This cutie pie was sleeping during the cookie decorating, but was all smiles and ready to play when she got up.
Can you see her 2 teeth?
She scooted over to the tree.
To check out some of the ornaments.
She successfully ended up pulling this snowman off the tree. She also got into Andrew’s crayons today. Lily is clever she only scoots and moves around to get things she knows we won’t let her have. Every day she scoots around more, I can’t wait to see her crawling. I am hoping she starts before Christmas, I will just have to wait and see.
