The Apprentice

Bobby’s semester of school has ended!!!!!  He has had a few days off from work and it has been wonderful having him around.

Bobby wasted no time and got in the garage and started on a new project.

Bobby showed Andrew how the table saw cuts wood.
Andrew loves being in the garage with Bobby.  Bobby is so patient and lets Andrew play with a few select tools.  Bobby is smiling big because Andrew kept asking to see it cut more wood.
For the past few days Andrew can’t stop fixing his light switch.  He pulls his work bench up and stands on it.  This entertains him for a long time several times a day.
Andrew loves to pretend play.  I love that we will have Sesame Street on TV and Andrew will run back to his room and play or go outside and play instead.  He is always wanting Lily and I to go play in his room.

All of the necessary tools are lined up and organized.  The cross in the background was strategically placed there, I tried to move it and Andrew keeps moving back to where he wants it to be.
We have had a fun few days and our house has been extra clean.  When Bobby is off from work and not studying he starts cleaning and organizing everything.  It is nice having a clean house and I really appreciate it, but I need a break from cleaning out and reorganizing.  Andrew also likes cleaning up too, he runs to his room excited to organize his room.  I hope he has that excitement when he is 13.

Tonight after Lily went to bed, she woke up crying and SITTING UP in her crib!  She was half asleep, cranky and a little confused.  I am so proud of her and I am curious how many times she is going to wake me up sitting in her crib the next few weeks..
