Once we got back from Colorado we savored the last few days of summer. We swam and swam because it is so much fun.
Andrew showing off his green band that represents he passed the swim test. He had to pass it weekly. When Andrew first passed his swim test he got a snorkel as a reward. He had been begging for one all summer. Once he passed we got him one, thinking he wouldn’t like it. I personally never really enjoyed breathing out of my mouth and snorkeling is not my favorite. Boy was I wrong! Andrew took to the snorkel in a few minutes and used it all summer to just float around. I would make him take it off and swim just to practice because he would just float the whole time in the pool. Andrew became a fish this summer.
We had lunch with some school friends after a school training for me. Andrew was excited to start the year knowing the kids who would be in his class and knowing his teacher and the classroom. The first grade room is right next door to the kindergarten room.
Summer afternoon crafting and painting. Caivano kids letting their creative juices flow.
Lily reminds me of myself she loves to do a craft project, cook and read books. It is so fun having her as my buddy.
Will made the lion mask at church and loved it. He ran around growling and showing it off for days. Will has such a spirit for adventure!
My crew is all on bikes except me!
