One Saturday in December the Perry cousin’s came over and we decorated gingerbread houses while Will napped. The kids had fun with a plate full of candy.
We have done this almost every year at the church. This year was the first year that I think Andrew was able to decorate his house pretty independently. So I guess the age recommendation is 5 and up. Lily had fun she just needed a little bit more help from me. I forgot to take a picture of the houses finished.
The houses lasted about 2 days and then they were thrown away because when Will woke up from him nap he immediately saw the houses and wanted to eat the marshmallows. He was determined to eat all of the candy on the houses and it was impossible to keep him away from it. Thankfully the big kids understood.
We baked sugar cookies one night. Andrew lasted about 10 min and then he was off playing legos.
Lily helped the whole time.
Christmas cookies 2014. The next day Lily and I decorated them, Andrew didn’t want to help, but he definitely enjoyed eating them.
