We had fun this year dressing up. Earlier in the week the kids went trick or treating at a assisted living. They had fun running the halls and giving the residents some entertainment. Will would give them back candy unless it was a sucker. He ended up with the most candy at the assisted living because he would keep going back to the same people who had suckers and they thought it was cute.
Lily was Rapunzel, Will was a tiger and Andrew was a astronaut.
Lily has been wearing her regal dress around the house for the last 2 months. She is really enjoying dress up these days. The outfit came with a wand but her little brother broke it.Andrew is so funny about costumes, he doesn’t really like dressing up. It bugs him when people call him anything other than Andrew. He was so excited about this costume at Costco when we bought it, but didn’t want to wear it to the halloween festivities we went to. I had to make him wear the helmet for pictures.
An astronaut attacking a tiger. Actually Andrew was trying to help me get a picture of Will. Will does not like anything on his head. He won’t even let me dry his hair after a bath, so as you can imagine he loved the hood to his tiger coat.
That is one way to make him stop crying, cover his mouth.
The Thursday before Halloween, I got brave and I craved pumpkins with all 3 kids by myself.
Last time I carved a pumpkin with a kid, Andrew was Will’s age.
Will thought it was ok, he checked it out and then did his own thing.
I made everyone conquer their fear of touching the pumpkin goo. Andrew was a good helper with cleaning out the pumpkin.
Lily’s pumpkin has her initials on it LC and the family one is happy looking.
Sweet baby face.
Lily instinctively knows how to walk like a queen in her dress.
Trick or treating with the kids was fun. Andrew rode his bike and Lily and Will were pushed in the stroller. Lily was so scared of bad guys coming to get her, the whole night she kept saying she wanted to go home. It is funny how literal little kids understand things.
