Fishies

This week we went to the grapevine aquariam. Andrew loves fish and he had fun seeing the fish.
Our little shark! He is the same size of the sharks we saw swimming around.
Admiring fish.
Lots of fancy lighting was used to create a cool atmosphere.
The whole place had walk up tanks at Andrew’s height.
It was made to feel like you were inside the ocean. It was pretty dark and had lots of lighting effects. Andrew didn’t get scared but he stayed close to Bobby.

Nana and Drew admiring the fish and dinosaur fossil.
Andrew walked on the clear glass over the water with cautious hesitation but no fear!
We walked through a tunnel that had water all around us, clear glass on the ground, walls and ceiling.
Inside the shark tank, this was a glass floor with sharks swimming beneath you. Andrew did great, the sharks looked little, but according to the chart they are the size of Andrew.
Lily was wide eyed the whole time.

Lily hanging out with dad, while Andrew played.
Funny serious face.
Andrew had fun in the play area at the end of the trip.

We had a great time, one of the perks of Bobby’s crazy schedule is that we can do family things during the week when it isn’t crowded. I would not recomend this aquarium if it is crowded, it felt narrow in the walk ways and there were lots of strollers. Overall we had fun but felt like it was over priced. We really love the Fort Worth zoo and the fish tank with the crocadilles are really cool, and the price and location are a lot better.
