Splish Splash

The weekend Lily was born apparently was a baby boom time at Harris Southwest. When she was born they said that she was number 13 of that day. So the nursery was busy, and we had to wait and wait and wait for a bath. About 7 hours! They say that all the birth gunk is good for skin and back in ancient history people would save that stuff and put it on their own skin! Hopefully Lily will have good skin since she had to wait a while for her bath.

Patiently waiting.

It's time!
Not so much fun, but now she is squeaky clean.
I had a hard time watching the bath, seeing that face.
Look at that tiny tushie!!!!
Both Momma and baby after showering/ bath and sleeping a few hours.
Little bitty feet.
Tiny hands
Finally my baby is clean and I can start dressing her up. This was her going home outfit.
All streched out, she doesn't care for swaddling.
Napping in the sunshine with Daddy. I love the smile on Bobby's face in this picture.
Look at those lips, that is deep sleep.
On Tuesday at around noon, we loaded up and headed home. I was so ready to sleep in my own bed.
First picture at home, Lily wasted no time settling in for a nap.
