This past week, Bobby and I escaped to Jamaica for the week. It was so fun and relaxing. We were celebrating 4/5 year anniversary. Everyone at the resort thought we were there on our honeymoon :) I loved that thinking "Yes, we still look young!" We stayed at the Sandals Grand Ocho Rios. It felt so funny at first to wake up when we wanted to and set our own schedule not Andrew's. We had great weather and ate lots of good food.

Sunsets on the beach was beautiful!

Still love looking into his eyes after dating/being married for 9 years.

As you can tell, we got quite tan.

We saw several crabs, it was funny to see them walk sideways.

One of our favorite things we did was snorkel the coral reef. We had so much fun and the ocean was so clear it felt like we were so close. Bobby even got to dive down pick up a sea urchin the guide identified for us. We also kayaked and took a sail boat type thing out in the ocean.

You would have thought Bobby was from California, he wiped that board around the ocean really well. The sail was too heavy for me to lift and keep up in the wind.

We also rode these 2 person tricycles on the ocean. It was a lot of work to move. We preferred kayaking. We also took a glass bottom boat out to see the coral reef.

The water was so clear!

One part of the beach.

Our favorite time of the day was in the morning after breakfast on the beach. No one was out there and it was so calm and cool.

The other part of the beach and part of the hotel.

This is a water fall in the back ground.

Chilaxin in the pool.

Andrew was so excited to see us when we came home. He also loved riding the escalator at the airport.
Andrew stayed with both sets of grandparents and had a blast. He was in a great mood and never really threw any tantrums (hum... I wonder why?) So obviously he got spoiled, but I wouldn't want it any other way.
Bobby and I did okay being away from the little man. We called every couple of days for updates, and we savored some of the little luxury's in life, we joyfully choose to give up for Andrew. I think everyone we talked to at the resort knew that we were pregnant and that we had a 1 and half year old back home in Texas. Yes, we are proud of our little family.
So now summer is officially over in the Caivano household. Bobby starts his fall semester on Friday, and the YMCA pool is now closed except on the weekends :(
Random update: This morning Andrew opened our bedroom door on his own. Time for level 3 of child proofing the house.
