Going Green

We have been going green around the Caivano Casa! Here is Andrew playing with a "recycled" toy. He loves boxes and cool whip type containers. Bobby has also been spotted wearing the Cheerio hat. However he refuses to let me take a picture, because he knows it will end up on the blog.

We also have been doing lost over yard work and much needed weeding. Or I guess I should say I have been pulling lots of weeds. I now have more motivation to get the yard in shape since Andrew loves to be outside. Bobby is always faith full about mowing the yard and spraying for bugs.

Another few small green steps we have been taking around the house include using cloth napkins (they are softer on little cheeks), I have hidden the paper towels for big messes, and we use actual cloth towels for minor stuff. We also buy 2- liter cokes and not cans. As many of you know we are not tree huggers, but we are trying to be money savers!

That is about all that has been going on, Bobby has started studying for test #2 of the semester. So Andrew and I hold down the fort while he usually studies at his mom's house, since there is not as much of a distraction over there.

Decker currently has not used her new house yet. I have been putting her food and treats in it and she will get in just far enough to get the treat and then quickly get out. So hopefully the house will grow on her!
