The isolated Thanksgiving. Here is a quick review of our week last week.
Saturday- Bobby and I did a work day at our church to help move into the new building. Andrew acted very mellow and slept alot and didn't eat much, so we thought it was teething.
Sunday- We had a cranky baby who didn't eat much and sleep ALOT. That night he ran a low grade fever, so we gave him some tylenol.
Monday- same as Sunday still thinking it was teeth. He was up most of the night crying in pain.
Tuesday- at 6 am he had 103.4 fever, Bobby and I start to worry and call the dr. at the office he tests positive for type A flu, which is probably swine flu. Quarantine begins.
Wednesday- Thursday still quarantined.
Friday- my birthday and we are back to being healthy again.
So Thanksgiving was a lonely one, thankfully Bobby and I have not caught the flu yet and on Thanksgiving night he was no longer contagious. Bobby worked on his paper all week and weekend.
So I am thankful that my baby boy is healthy again, that the only symptom we could tell he had was a fever and a really cute hoarse voice. I am also thankful for the invention of Tylenol I couldn't imagine going through this without it.
He is a wild man on this push toy his face lights up and he gets so excited when he is walking/ pushing it.
P.S. Andrew's 2 front top teeth have come in and for the past couple of mornings he has been grinding his teeth. I guess because they are new, but the sound is horrible. I am sure this will pass soon. He is also eating like a beaver with his new teeth it makes a cute sound when he is munching on cheerios. He can also clap now and bounces when he gets excited!!!
So now that we are healthy and Bobby's paper is due on Friday, I hope this weekend we put up Christmas stuff and have some fun!!!
