Monkey Business

Over Memorial Day Andrew surprised us be randomly starting climbing. Secretly I have enjoyed that Andrew has not been very curious about climbing, and I never wanted to teach him. So we were all sitting around enjoying dessert, while Andrew roamed around the house. Then all of a sudden he did this...

We didn't think he would actually get himself up there. Then he did this..
Then he did the unspeakable with a huge smile on his face (I wasn't fast enough with the camera to catch the victory grin)Then I taught him how to sit down and safely get off of the coffee table.

Then we turn around and here is Andrew. Oh my, my world as a mom is changing fast. I like how he is standing on the chair like it is nothing and fascinated by his cup.

He then moved into this position. The evening ended here. That was also his first time to sit in the chair all by himself. We normally place him in the chair.

We had a great Memorial Day. We got to see my grandparents from Wichita Falls. They brought down their old dryer for us. Such a blessing, our old dryer worked just not very well. So I am hoping that this new dryer will lower our electric bill some, since I won't have to dry a load of clothes for 2-3 cycles to get them dry.
We also got to hang out with Bobby's family and celebrate Bobby's birthday.
A lot of yard work was also completed! I can't wait to post pictures soon.
Andrew randomly had a fever over the weekend that got pretty high. He is over it now and has a slight cough and runny nose.
