Okay so I have taken the plunge and decided to start a little family blog. Bobby thinks it is weird, but whatever. I have been thinking about starting one for a while, but have always felt like our life was too boring. So we will just see how it goes.
Life currently: summer was such a much needed relaxing break for everyone. We enjoyed sleeping in and seeing more of each other.
* Andrew is doing great; it is hard to believe that he is 7 months old now and army crawling down the hallway or just anywhere in the house to find me. He is defiantly a momma’s boy now, but saves his giggles and laughs exclusively for Bobby when they play. He loves eating solid food and likes everything we have given so far. He even likes egg yokes, unfortunately they don’t like him and he throws them up! Yuck! I am looking forward to the fall when he and I can go on walks during the day when it is cooler.
* Bobby is just now entering a busy season of his life. This week he started grad school at UTA, he is now a fighting Mav. So hopefully by the fall of 2013 he will be a family nurse practioner. That sounds so far away, but by going part time his work will pay for more of the schooling. It was weird he spent most of Monday driving around UTA trying to figure out where to get his parking pass, student ID, books and ect. He said he felt old and like a freshman at the same time. He said he will still and always claim Tech as his school.
* Me, Lauren, well as Bobby life is becoming more complicated mine is simplifying!!! Last spring I finished my last grad school class and I am staying home with Andrew this year. It has been fun because now I can stay up later with Bobby. I told Bobby I needed another hobby with my free time, since going to the gym is more complicated now. Bobby told me to take up gardening a.k.a. weeding our yard. I think my fear of bugs and things that fly don’t mix well with the gardening. However I did help pull weeds yesterday, while he mowed the yard.
That is all I have for now maybe I will think of funny stuff to write about.
I am SO glad you are blogging!! I think you should do a blog entry on cloth diapering for all us moms far away that need help and motivation! I know you have TONS of mommy advice in there and once you tap into it your blog will be booming!
